Without question, Scott Waid has become our realtor for life. He recently sold our home and our experience was exceptional. It is difficult to articulate our experience in one review because there are so many things to mention. First, and most important to us, Scott significantly reduced our stress level by addressing many of the sticking points that come up in a sale, thereby keeping us off the emotional rollercoaster! He kept us informed every step of the way and personally handled so many of the home preparations, including hanging a cornice board in our family room, stabilizing our leaning fence, repairing and painting the trim on our playhouse, assisting with inside paint touch up and so much more. Not only did he get us the highest price on the street, he did it while going above and beyond to show the home with the mandated pandemic restrictions. This is our 2nd transaction working with Scott and we couldn't be happier. The overall process was smooth from start to finish and Scott's expertise really helped us get the most for our house and the best price for the house we were looking to buy. Our transaction was fairly complex as we were selling our house to buy another and we had to get it all done in parallel. It all went through without a problem and in record time (30 days from start of escrow to close on both properties). 

Here are some details that really impressed us with Scott: Selling our house: - Scott's pricing strategy/marketing execution was spot on: we had more than 70 people walk through in our first (and only) open-house and had several appointments the following day. Scott does not cut corners when it comes to marketing: the pictures and the flyers were top-notch, the Zillow site was up and running in record time and he even had our home featured on his own website. 

Scott's negotiating strategy was also superb: we received multiple offers less than 3 days after the house was listed. He then proceeded to work to get us the best price for our home. After we went in escrow, he was able to get us a rent back as well as minimal request for repairs, all while getting us more than we had hoped for... Buying our house: - There again, his negotiating skills were in full display getting us at a lower point than we had hoped for while working on ensuring that all necessary repairs were done in a timely manner. 

Through it all (selling and buying), we were in constant communication as to where we were in the transaction and what was needed to get it done. Not one time did Scott not answer his phone or called us back in a timely manner. This really allowed us to have a stress-free transaction even though the transaction itself was complex. We even close on the sale and the purchase while on vacation in Europe and there again, he was always picking up even though we were calling at odd hours. Needless to say, we would highly recommend Scott as a Real Estate agent and we will for sure use Scott again for our next transaction...
